Yoga in clinical settings

Are you a hospital director, occupational therapist or work within a mental health setting? If you're interested in discovering the incredible benefits of yoga for your patients then read on.....
The somatic practice of yoga can be extremely beneficial in many different settings. I offer trauma informed yoga and TCTSY in small groups and 1:1, within mental health settings.
The practice of a trauma sensitive yoga can help patients to become embodied again safely after, often, a long time of bodily disassociation as a result of past traumas. The benefits of this is evidenced in many studies, and can help bring people back to a calm and healthier state of being resulting in an overall positive impact on both physical and mental health.
This 'bottom- up' approach to healing can work either as a standalone therapy or in conjunction with 'top-down' cognitive talk therapies.
Usually, I request a block of 2.5-3 hours to provide the service to patients.

Yoga, breathwork and meditation sessions can also be organized for staff in conjunction with visits.
